Hi guys,
So I've figured out this REALLY cool exploit on Android phones, and I've got it to work! But as a way to ass more power to the exploit, I need to figure out how to exploit my phone. It is a Samsung Galaxy Precedent (I think... or maybe it's a Prevail...) and the model number is SCH-M828C. I am using One Click Root, and this is the output I get on terminal.

           Root for the Samsung Prevail

                Exploit By Bliss

If you could help me, I would be truly grateful and willing to share the exploit in the Tutorials section!

Okay, this is what I did.

First, I followed all of these instructions:

Quote

Read Me First!!!

First turn on android debugging
Press menu
then settings
next Applications
Finally Development
ensure the box for USB debugging is checked
press home

Windows

double click on the root.bat file

follow the on-screen prompts from the window that will pop up.

Mac/linux

open terminal
cd to the direcory that has the one click
sudo chmod 755 Linux-Mac.sh
./Linux-Mac.sh

When it didn't work, I turned off my firewall, VPN, and all that stuff incase that was the problem. No change...

Like back it up. Like you know how you back up the phone on your computer? Then you snc purchases and whatever? Just sync it on like it is an app. Don't know if it would work but you can try.

Okay, I realized that if I put sudo in front of the command, everything works up until this point.

Then it just freezes and doesn't spit out anymore output...
